Telling A Story

What is the definition of writing? Writing helps you tell a story. It’s really about creativity. I love being able to sit down and write out my feelings. I am the type of person who won’t tell you how I feel but after awhile, I just want to sit down and write everything out. It is very therapeutic and relaxing for me.

This past year I had to write a personal essay and I was able to express myself through my writing. Many of my friends didn’t know that’s how I felt. I use writing to get out my feelings and to express myself. Writing that essay really helped me with my anxiety. It felt like I finally got that weight off my shoulders.

Writing to me is all about telling my story and just being creative. It’s not always writing an essay for a class. I write paragraphs to my boyfriend about how much I appreciate him. Writing to me is just telling my story.
